• BG: Pedestals/Artifacts replace tokens with valuable (and varied) use in quests from Tanares Adventures. They can also be obstacles in a battlefield or be placed next to vertices of an altar tile for aesthetic effect. | Tombstones mark the square of death of a character, an important tracker for Tanares Adventures’ new mission rules and in Team deathmatches if one of the Heroes can revive others (to mark the target square of the spell) | Malign Towers track an important status in Tanares Adventures’ quests — the Fatigue, through which it is marked that a Hero cannot act until the next round begins | Portals and barricades replace cardboard tiles with gameplay significance both in PvP and in PvE game modes, as they change the dynamics of combat.
